TestZone 2024: Great interest in electric mobility and a record number of test drives
This year's TestZone events were held over two weekends in September, in Fredericia and for the first time in Brøndby. The events were conducted in collaboration with ALD Automotive | LeasePlan.
At TestZone 2024, our business customers, who are due to switch to a new company car soon, had the opportunity to test drive and learn about the latest cars on the market.
“We organize TestZone because it is a unique opportunity for our customers, who are about to switch company cars, to test drive a variety of cars on the same day, in the same place – saving them a lot of time,” says Mads Vandborg, General Manager at NF Fleet Denmark.
Electric vehicles were the big focus at TestZone
There was great interest in electric cars and everything that comes with being an EV owner. This is why Clever was also present as a partner, so participants could get answers to questions about everything from home charging solutions to charging network options and costs.
“The questions our customers most often ask at TestZone are about range, infrastructure, and the transition from diesel cars to electric vehicles. They want to know what they should be aware of and how to make charging at home and everyday life with an EV work smoothly,” explains Mads Vandborg.
The top five most test-driven cars at TestZone also reveal that electric vehicles are what interests our customers the most:

“The types of cars we have this year are similar to last year, but we can see that electric cars have made an even bigger impact this year. 90% of the cars here today are electric. Last year, there were still many diesel cars, but this year it’s all about electric, electric, and more electric,” emphasizes Mads Vandborg.
Great atmosphere and many test drives
Both weekends brought sunny weather and strong support from customers, partners, dealers, and suppliers. Over the two weekends, a total of 1,162 test drives were completed – an impressive number, showing that all participants were busy test-driving various car models.
